SPQR gallery In 1997 our
Danish design professor Henrik Birkvig assigned participants the
task of sketching SPQR on a postcard. Most of us didn't get around to it until the parting
hours of the tour. Nevertheless, we joined the
ageless tradition of invoking "Senatus Populusque Romanus" – the Senate and
People of Rome.
